COVID-19 Alert Level 3 update 11:30pm, September 7th 2021
September 7th, 2021 at 11:30am
As an Essential Service provider we are operating to fulfill your orders as timely as we can.
We are currently all upto date on order fulfillment without any major disruptions.
Last week NZ Post imposed a daily limit on us, but we cleared that by Saturday and currently it is business as usual.
1/ Currently we are no longer offering Saturday deliveries, as there is no guarantee of this service being fulfilled under the current lockdown.
2/ Our daily courier is now coming between 12pm and 1pm; this has reduced our daily fulfillment by 3 hours; because of this your order will most likely be dispatched the next day after you order.
3/ We currently have no backlog of orders and are fulfilling them in a timely fashion.
4/ Once the majority of New Zealand moves to Level 2, the expectation is the courier network load will reduce and go back to normal'ish.
HELP US to help you
If paying by Bank Transfer, please send a screenshot of the payment to us so we can process your order and get it on the courier ASAP; instead of waiting for it to arrive at our bank account.
If you are a new customer purchasing cigars or pipe tobacco, please send us your Photo ID by email so we can process your order quickly.
We are now working longer than normal hours to dispatch your orders as quickly as we can.
Long-ashes everyone, stay safe, stay sane & enjoy a cigar...
Grant, Vikki, Jo, Matt, Tim, Joe & Lexi
Your patience during this time is greatly appreciated.
Please note that any logistics operation in New Zealand will be under significant pressure with reduced staff and social distancing requirements.
Your order may take 48hrs to be fulfilled and dispatched (i.e. order Sunday, it may take until Tuesday to be dispatched).
Orders placed after 11am (weekdays) will not be dispatched until the following day; as the courier comes between 12pm and 1pm everyday during lockdown.
International supply: we have a significant amount of new stock arriving in preparation for our move into our new building; so we are more than fine in terms of stock on hand and going forward.
